Higher dimensions and iteration counts take longer. Moving previews refine when you stop.

I like seeing how much performance I can squeeze out of a program.

For this Julia renderer, we used SIMD to calculate four pixels at once. That brought the default render from 13.18 ms down to 4.30 ms, about 3.1× faster than the scalar version. Profiling the code and chipping away at those milliseconds was my favourite part of the project.
